What are the Best Ways to Film a Short Film?

The best way to film a short film is to always come up with a good story. When you have a good story everything begins to come together. Like in Florida their a group of filmmakers called the Orlando Independent Filmmakers, with this organization they get together every 3-4 months to have a film challenge where they pick the category. After they pick a category group of people and individuals to begin to plan out what they want to film or even write. Sometimes it's getting to the point people already have what they want in mind they just have to put it to paper. Another thing is it's a learning opportunity for people that would like to be in the film industry and just to see how everything is run. It's a wonderful learning experience, but back to the main topic. One of my ways finds a location and then just film, you can never go wrong with filming something out of the blue and making a storyline out of it. That the life of what's happening as of right now, grab your camera and just go.
