Just Mercy was a movie that was needed, as a black woman I never heard a story that can change the hearts and soul of the Community. This is a movie that everyone needs to watch. From the story to the actors. But before I begin my review on Just Mercy first I want to say Thank you to Brian Stevenson because without him this story would have never been told. As well as the McMillian Family and the other families that Mr. Stevenson helped to release from death row. Just Mercy had a message that needed to be said. Most people are scared to touch on these subjects. In 1999 there was a movie called The Green Mile, about a people that were sentenced to death row. But it was mainly about a man by the name of John Coffey. Everyone thought he was guilty but in the end, he was Innocent. Both of these movies have similarities but Mr. Stevenson was the man that stood up for the men that weren't able to have the resources they needed.
